- Shimi
- My real name is Hikawashi, Miko. Shimi is a nickname I accidentally gave myself when I was younger. I liked to introduced myself saying, "Hi... I'm Hikawa... shi-Mi... ...ko...?" Well, it looks a bit confusing, so I guess I should explain what was going through my mind at the time: "Hikawa..." (A slight pause as I momentarily forgot the last part. Oops....) "shi-Mi..." (Panicking, I spoke too fast and merged "shi" and "mi" together before realising my mistake.) "...ko...?" (Well, I had to include this last bit, even if it was a bit late....) I used that phrase so often, when I was small... and well, the "Shimi" name kinda stuck with friends and family. It was a bit embarassing, when I found out what shimi actually meant.... uhh-hhahhahha... hhah?
