I've kinda, been trying to sort stuff out, recently.... Well, I think I've got the Decade high out of my system or at least, have it under control more or less, I think. Anyway, I guess it's a good thing to get things more clear and try to make it so there are less distractions.... And then, the F1 season starts again.

This isn't really related to anything here, at least not directly.... Anyway, last week I finally managed to get around to buying an original 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime figure. Seeing as this year is the 25th anniversary of Transformers, it is kinda bad that I've left it this long. I mean, I've also likely missed out on being able to get the MP-04 complete set at a (semi-)decent price, by a few years. Actually, I've kinda realised now, that since Transformers will be celebrating their 25th this year, it maybe wasn't the best time to buy any anniversary-related products.... I always kinda screw up timing like that...

[SPIN] Slot in a card, give it a tap and blow stuff up. That sounds quite easy....

[FLR/Misc] An idea for a Mugen creation: "Smash" Eri's a ninja, with over-excessive explosions, a "Shot-ken" and even more mish-mash phrases.

I honestly don't know who has it worse, Eri or Ryo....

Well, I did say, I was going to make a separate post for this.... I'm still missing a few pictures, but I guess, I could add them in later.

Ummm.... I think, the last update kinda gave things away, when I labelled it as [DCD-STK].... so I guess, I could talk about it here freely, in more detail.

(Right, the first thing I'll do is cut out the Shimi-speech. That should make it easier to describe everything without having to re-phrase whole sentences with the pauses added in.)

One of the things I like about Decade, is that it gives you the "feel" of another Rider series without really spoiling any plot-important elements in the actual show; or at least only vague hints that mainly those who watched that particular series would pick up. I think it's quite a good way to introduce these different settings and even provide some background, while still leaving in the surprises for a first-time viewer to enjoy if they start watching these other series.

This idea made me start thinking about how the STK series could be condensed and re-interpreted into this format. Well, what started off as a stray thought developed into a side-project that I might do one day, but considering the slow start STK's having, it will might be quite some time before I start working on this properly.

Anyway, it wasn't as hard as I first thought, since I've already planned out the major points of the overall story for STK, I just needed to pick out the relevant portions to play around with. In some way, it is a sort of "test" to see how well a grasp I have on my own work and how malleable the concepts are if placed in a different situation. In fact, after I make some head way into STK, I intend to offer anyone who's interested permission to re-interpret the stories and characters as they see fit. Having already re-made a number of parts at this point, I'm interested to see what else could be done, in a "compairing notes" type of experiment.

At the moment I have a loose outline of what's going to happen, still subject to change, of course. One of the best ways for me to get my ideas down is to jot a few sketches, although I feel that they do look slightly gimmicky right now:

It's hard to pick out the details, but she's also wearing two headbands (one thin plastic and one broad cloth) and also has an inverse pony-tail. I guess she's still a weirdo, just in different ways....

Lately, I really haven't been as productive, as I would have liked....

Quite a bit of time, has been spent going over existing material. I think, I've smoothed over a few elements, re-did a bunch of stuff and also, moved some minor events around. Really, it's not as chaotic.... or whimsical as it sounds; a number of these changes actually foreshadow later developments, very subtly or help them gel together better....

Well, ok.... that's not the only activity that's been slowing things down.... After all this time, I finally got Front Mission 4 and a decent amount of the past two weeks have been devoted to it. Any way, I hope that I do at least manage to get through it, unlike my half-finished run of Shadow Dragon that I more or less dropped, especially after FM4 arrived....

It's kinda been a mixed bag of ideas, over the last two weeks. Well, once again, it's one of those updates where there's not much to really say, but the chaotic and un-cohesive surge of ideas kinda speak for themselves....

[SPIN] Refined the designs for Shield form ver.2 and as a bonus, began work on Panic form, as well.

[STK/SRW] Put a few plot ideas together. I guess, it's easier to go over it in more detail, in the closing paragraph....

I guess, it's a good thing that Ritsuki's not a video game character....

Ok, I'm just going to place a list of SRW-themed scenarios here that I came up with. Since these spoliers cover the an entire story's events, I'll hide it behind white text:

Pre-story chapters: One set while Ritsuki was in the SAT, another with Sentry armour Goji during the parallel world events, and possibly an even earlier one featuring Velos and Shroud.
I played around with the idea of running EDG, STK and FLR events simultaneously. That means, most major characters will be available very early on.
I plan on placing Goji and his events on a route split, seperate from the others. In a way, his abscence will mirror the setting for EDG and FLR.
Choices can be made to determine whether story events follow the EDG, STK or FLR path, or even a mixture.

The following is a list of secrets/unlockables that I've thought of:

IMPACT/IMAGO and REFLECT-FLARE: A kill count requirement will keep Shigeaki alive for the rest of the game. Aura and Kaizo-Flare are not available. Reflect-Flare is also unlocked.
Keep AURA: Never choose to deploy Aura. When fighting Kai-SOL, stall until the Shift characters appear. INCORP cannot be obtained.
CENTURION RIDERS: Prevent the Sentry armour from being stolen. Ray-Z will not be available, but the three Centurion Riders appear(convincible). The Sentry armour remains available for use.
INCORP : Unlock IMPACT/IMAGO, then prevent the Sentry armour from being stolen. Ray-Z will not be available, but the three Centurion Riders appear(convincible).
SEIKEN(Falcon-Being): Only available if Ray-Z is obtained.
SATSU and ALERT FIN: Unlock IMPACT/IMAGO and select Eri when forced to chose between the Sawanos.
PALADIN'S FORM/PHOTON OVERLOAD: Choose between the options of Re-fit(GDR-01I) or Re-build(GDR-01R).
DUEL STREAK: In the final Streak/Cyanide encounter, defeat Cyanide without changing into STREAK(Gekkou) or using "Silver Bullet".
VELOS and SHROUD: Defeat Scourge with Streak, Velos and Shroud's Combo Attack, with Shift Support Attacking.
SWIFT STREAM-J: Swift has to give/receive 4 Support Attacks/Defends or perform Combo Attacks with both Edge and Fusion.
SWIFT STREAM-I: Swift has to give/receive 4 Support Attacks/Defends or perform Combo Attacks with Fusion and receive 4 support defends from Streak.
SHI-CHAN: Defeat the Switchblade-Mussel Kaizo-Being using Fin's "Rider Arrow Kick". Support Defend Shi-chan with Fin. Defeat the Gattling Gun-Tiger Kaizo-Being with Shi-chan's "Photon Blaster Kick" while Fin has 25% HP or less. Shi-chan becomes available when Swift has 150 morale.
"EDGE-STREAK-FLARE Combo/Super-Charged Kougeki/Yuuki no Nekketsu" Combo Attack: Only available on the default path. (Obtain GDR-01R, kill Shigeaki, kill Ryuhei, choose Suzumi, obtain Ray-Z, gain Kaizo-Flare).

Oh yeah, one more thing.... I could probably fit Shift: IMAGO into the Tamashii story if I placed a time-jump somewhere along the story....

So... Kazuki's name has been officially taken? It kinda makes him mad, again....

Well, I don't really have much to talk about, this time....

I guess, I could explain the meaning behind the title for this update. It was made in reference to something Toei's producer mentioned during the press conference for Decade, when he (maybe?) half-jokingly added that the 100th Rider will be called Kamen Rider Century. By coincidence, the word "century" is part of a word-play I have in mind for a future character. I think I've already mentioned him before, here and there in some of the updates; I'm sure the character's name, Kazuki, has been mentioned as well, but I hope this brief explanation doesn't make things more confusing, at least....

[SPIN] "I AM THE REAL GYO!!"

[FLR] This... is as literal as it sounds....

"Shi-chan, it's just a bag of munchies... there's no need to beat yourself up over it."

[STK] Another form-swapping fight scene by Goji.

I thought it was a good start, covering everything necessary for an introductory episode. It set up the scene and direction for the series; the story was fast-paced, yet easy enough to follow; the characters were quite interesting; and there was also a small sample of how Decade's powers worked.
