So... Kazuki's name has been officially taken? It kinda makes him mad, again....

Well, I don't really have much to talk about, this time....

I guess, I could explain the meaning behind the title for this update. It was made in reference to something Toei's producer mentioned during the press conference for Decade, when he (maybe?) half-jokingly added that the 100th Rider will be called Kamen Rider Century. By coincidence, the word "century" is part of a word-play I have in mind for a future character. I think I've already mentioned him before, here and there in some of the updates; I'm sure the character's name, Kazuki, has been mentioned as well, but I hope this brief explanation doesn't make things more confusing, at least....

Well, this isn't really meant to be a commentary blog.... but I just wanted to put down my impressions on the first episode of Decade, somewhere.... 

I thought it was a good start, covering everything necessary for an introductory episode. It set up the scene and direction for the series; the story was fast-paced, yet easy enough to follow; the characters were quite interesting; and there was also a small sample of how Decade's powers worked. Also, I made some quick, post-episode sketches, that came to mind:

(After I saw the published post, I kinda realised, most of the quotes were very.... ummm.... well.... blue, I guess....)

My to-do list is becoming a book....

I've started re-organising the STK pages, adding a few ok touches to the menus with html. Well, I'm actually copy and pasting the html code from the new posts option, but I guess, it kinda works.... in the end.... The trickiest part, was actually gathering the random ideas and thoughts together; to make something that at least looked informative, without ruining stuff that happens later in the story....

Ummm.... now what else did I do....? Ohhh right, I spent a bit of time cobbling together an outline for (yet another) series. This one's kinda weird, the original "pilot" story came from a dream I had a few years ago. It didn't really fit into any of the existing projects, so it was mainly left alone, as a rejected idea for an introductory story. Well, not completely.... I did try to come back and dip into it a few times, but never did get anywhere. After giving it some hard thought, recently, I think I might have an idea about what I want to do with it; so I guess, 7th January 2009 would be the day it officially "came to together"....

It's kinda strange, though.... it actually pre-dates Gyo by more than a year, but it took longer to properly come to fruition, unlike Gyo, which basically was a bunch of ideas that all came at once, and whose structure was created in the span of two weeks. There's also some parallels with Gyo, as well. In a way, Gyo is an extension of the concepts from the STK side of things(Gyroscopic watch, personality-based Unlock System); while this project, CELL, is building on ideas used EDG and BLAZE. Well, not too much has been finalised, yet, but I do have an early grasp on who some of the key players are, and what happens to the main protagonist by the end of the series....
