Weird.... the more stuff I get done, the slower I look....

This isn't really related to anything here, at least not directly.... Anyway, last week I finally managed to get around to buying an original 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime figure. Seeing as this year is the 25th anniversary of Transformers, it is kinda bad that I've left it this long. I mean, I've also likely missed out on being able to get the MP-04 complete set at a (semi-)decent price, by a few years. Actually, I've kinda realised now, that since Transformers will be celebrating their 25th this year, it maybe wasn't the best time to buy any anniversary-related products.... I always kinda screw up timing like that...

• [SPIN] Slot in a card, give it a tap and blow stuff up. That sounds quite easy....
  

• [FLR/Misc] An idea for a Mugen creation: "Smash" Eri's a ninja, with over-excessive explosions, a "Shot-ken" and even more mish-mash phrases.

I honestly don't know who has it worse, Eri or Ryo....

The most non-canon cross-over in the world, kinda....

Well, I did say, I was going to make a separate post for this.... I'm still missing a few pictures, but I guess, I could add them in later.

Ummm.... I think, the last update kinda gave things away, when I labelled it as [DCD-STK].... so I guess, I could talk about it here freely, in more detail.

(Right, the first thing I'll do is cut out the Shimi-speech. That should make it easier to describe everything without having to re-phrase whole sentences with the pauses added in.)

One of the things I like about Decade, is that it gives you the "feel" of another Rider series without really spoiling any plot-important elements in the actual show; or at least only vague hints that mainly those who watched that particular series would pick up. I think it's quite a good way to introduce these different settings and even provide some background, while still leaving in the surprises for a first-time viewer to enjoy if they start watching these other series.

This idea made me start thinking about how the STK series could be condensed and re-interpreted into this format. Well, what started off as a stray thought developed into a side-project that I might do one day, but considering the slow start STK's having, it will might be quite some time before I start working on this properly.

Anyway, it wasn't as hard as I first thought, since I've already planned out the major points of the overall story for STK, I just needed to pick out the relevant portions to play around with. In some way, it is a sort of "test" to see how well a grasp I have on my own work and how malleable the concepts are if placed in a different situation. In fact, after I make some head way into STK, I intend to offer anyone who's interested permission to re-interpret the stories and characters as they see fit. Having already re-made a number of parts at this point, I'm interested to see what else could be done, in a "compairing notes" type of experiment.

At the moment I have a loose outline of what's going to happen, still subject to change, of course. One of the best ways for me to get my ideas down is to jot a few sketches, although I feel that they do look slightly gimmicky right now:

I've drawn up character sketches too, to give both an idea and reminder of how I want them to look:

• He might look like Goji, but he's actually Taiki in disguise.

• "Mishi" is supposed to be a Risk Assessment.... Officer.... at the Police. She actively updates her diary as day-to-day things happen, pulling down her wraparound shades before she gets to work. It's hard to pick out the details, but she's also wearing two headbands (one thin plastic and one broad cloth) and also has an inverse pony-tail. I guess she's still a weirdo, just in different ways....

It's good that it keeps me busy, but I guess, it's not really a good thing that there's so many things I need to do, that I'll need to back-log them for quite a while. I think, I'll need to do some re-organising and re-scheduling to sort things out properly. I wonder what Su-chan would do....
